Really can't understand how could ppl make such an ugly poster for such a cool movie! this is almost the only acceptable move poster I've seen around and it's from Japan obviously. What are those American doing (sorry it's only to those American who does that ugly poster<--(click on this and you see why I m so bothered)?!
It's such an highly creative one. I wouldn't say all the scenes inside are super great but from the whole idea to every little parts inside the movie, it's just full of weird imaginations~~~~ Nothing really needa to explain in this movie, just go and see it and enjoy some imaginations from these people. nice art directions, and I do like that randomness of how everything happened even the name of the movie. Maybe it means something but I bet it must be add-on afterward for some other reasons.. Btw, it's quite a lot of Dali's scenes in the movie which makes it quite surreal but a bit familiar~~~ love it love it~~~
A move that I thought from the same director of Juno before going into the cinema. It doenst really matter, really... I do find it interesting. Probably the subject itself, the roller derby, is very interesting thing to know about. It does help~~~ and Ellen Page is so cute :)
It's just a very very teenage movie, haha and it always good to see (to my age). It reminds me a bit our age... haha, nono... probably because we are in this age and we all experiencING it that makes it so real to see :D:D hahahhaa~~ Anyway this is about how we grow up, this is about our first love, this is about us~~ and you must love this movie if you are not too far from this age forgetting what's just happened on us~~ lalalala... seriously it's a good movie.
An interesting movie. Everything started with a murder in a restaurant and ended there. It's a nice story I have to say... it's like a butterfly effect. The way they edit the movie does help the story become more interesting. It keeps us watching. The ending wasn't that surprising but I did enjoy the whole movie. Yea~~ give it a go if you find it.
I actually found it an interesting story and we see that a bit crazy mind of the director. I think he handle this kinda story between a few ppl better than those massive thousand ppl scenes. What I like this movie was it does has it own character that you wont see it from other movies... the colour and the location chosen (middle of nowhere) and the timeless background, which makes the movie more interesting. The weird ending, the What I didn't like this movie was those supposed to be funny movements. I dont know... maybe I just don't get that too mainland Chinese joke or what. That's not funny to me~~ I think it's good that Zhang Yimou get back to this kinda movie making the Chinese movie industry more interesting.

I guess it's not a bad movie, but I just don't like it. I so much wanted to leave the cinema after an hour. I dontk now why I felt it so strongly coz I didn't find it that bad. Maybe the actors act in a way that I don't like, or maybe the story is just totally totally fully very very too much predictable, or maybe I dont know... It's just too chessy I guess. Everything... everything in the movie, each move of the actor was just trying (too hard) to say we are cool, we can we are pretty damn smart, we are so unbeatable, we can do everything, we know everything, all details, no one single thing that we don't know. I just hate that feeling.... hahaha... I dont know, Leo likes it, Daat likes it..... probably just me but I kinda felt bad after watching it.
