It's been a bad time to visit the state to be honest. I seriously travel too much last year and also it's almost the worst weather in SB~~ cold and rain um... ahhhhh..... but it was a super sweet Christmas I've spent with Petra's family :) Thanks and sorry Darius and Felix, I totally forgot we should exchange gifts in Christmas dinner hahahaha.... I will have better preparation next year~ lol~~

Tron (6.5)

The only thing that worth you paying US$18 to go into cinema is the soundtrack and it is brilliant I have to say. It is so rich and tells a lot more than the visual. It's just so well done. It's reasonably entertaining and the CG is okay but I did expect much more for the visual when they spent an entire year to promote it. Something I can't understand and it's still in my mind is why is the door soooo low-tech in their fancy digital flat? and that's quite a lot of silly things going on which I shouldn't even ask why for a movie like this I guess. The main actress is stunning although her acting kinda sucks.
If you wanna see it, see it in cinema or don't even bother

Whatever works (6.5)

It's one of Woody Alan's very interesting movie. Very interesting idea as the name of the movie "whatever works". Life is full of surprises and unexpected and it's the norm. I actually like it from the beginning until middle to later half but I definitely hate that ending. I think it's very typical, using the whole movie to talk about one single idea but I am not sure it is the best way to talk about stories.

A Single Man (7)

As everyone said, it's a nice (but not exciting obviously) movie to see. It is pretty, it is a nicely written story and it is nicely directed.

It's a story happened in a day in California in 1960s. A 50+ years old gay man trying to kill himself because of his partner died in a car accident. Invisible life of gays at that time,

I kinda find the music a bit too upfront as a movie soundtrack. It created a mood of sadness even more than the visual could give and more than it needs I think. The tone of the movie keep changing during the whole movie but you dont find it too arkaward. haha anyway it's nice to see and it's Tom Ford movie, I guess I would put it into the must-see cat. coz of that.
