I so much didn't want to see this movie on the flight! But it's 14 hrs here, how could I hold myself back?! haha.... yea... Where the Wild Things Are, I've just seen it on my flight to LA... I so much feel sorry for all of you dont have a chance seeing it in HK guys... hahaha... it's such an amazing movie seriously~ The moster are super nicely done on the details, as well as the motions and especially the facial expression! I do love the place they built with Max's commond. I haven't seen any of the original comic and I can't really compare, but I do like the randomness of how does he get along with the mosters :D Yea... How great is it when you say you are the king, then you are the king :) Btw, where the movie taken is probably very close to where I m going and I m sure I've been in some of the scenes in the movie. It does add value to me :D Maybe because I've been there and I so much feel lucky that I've been those place in my life.... Maybe if you never been there, you wont feel how amazing it is. but well, it's such a beautiful place anyway no one would dislike it I supposed. I do find it jumping from the "real" world into (and out of) the moster world a bit too fast... I didn't like what happened in that real world really. It didn't really tell anything or maybe what it tells didn't impress me... I dont know... it's just going too fast and Max (the kid) randomly running away from home. And the ending too, he just suddenly feel that he has to go home and he leaves... If I were the director, and I has to have him starting the adventure so quickly, I would take off all the lead in part... It's not a rational move anyway... I will definitely see it again, probably find a DVD or something. So, let me know if you wanna borrow from me when I'm back :D
