I think it's a good movie which's taken from a very French point of view~ Of course I m not a French nor knowing French very well... but it's a very French thinking that I observed from Stephane and some other movie~ Yea~ I do think it's a very good movie to show what kinda environment of ppl grow up from some other countries~ and how different is our culture compare to others~ If you think, yea, it's just a movie, and I can tell you, it's actually true and it's probably quite common in some other part of the world. :)

Bodyguards and Assassins 十月圍城（5)

Um... I actually think it is not a good movie at all that no one really need to see it... It's just a movie that fit all into the boundaries from China not stepping any lines, trying to please some stupid ppl who blindly love their country without thinking what's better for their country. I m sorry to say but it's a typical, non-creative, a-lot-of-stars kinda movie. And the visual is not even nice. The story is boring, the actors are not acting that great... yea.. it's a lot of movie stars in the movie but it;s just not right. The director spends 10000 piece of films to tell how the ppl contribute their life to protect the "father of China", and each single film was trying to tell us how moving and tragic it was~ isn't it a bit too much? We can see they have plenty of budget to make the thing looks nice but that's all money can buy. Money can buy a lot of hardwork from people. But what money cannot buy (for this movie) is a tiny creative thought which pretty depends on the director I guess. It's just simply a boring movie without any deep thought behind it. Unfortunately, It's for the general public who don't give any thinking to what they see.

Btw, the scene that Leon Lai act in it, who looks like a crazy person speaking and acting like crazily, is probably the only not-as-boring part. He does add some value to the movie but the director who put the Lee Ka Yan shot at the end of the scene that reiun the whole thing (does he actually think it's a sense of humor?!), making the whole movie even worse! 6 points is for the hardwork for the whole movie, and minor 1 is what the director does to the movie.

Um... I've seen this movie twice. the first time I saw it, I did find it a very good one. From the CGs to the........ um well... I think this movie is all about CGs, I dont really know what can I comment other than CG~~ hahaa... and I didn't expect this movie more than that anyway. A lot of scenes are very very beautiful and the story is super simple. I guess that's what make it a very popular movie. Obviously, marketing does help a lot. The 3D must-see movie kinda strategy lead the whole huge successful is doubtless for sure.

Okay, the first time I saw it, it wasn't a good seat at all. It's pretty much at the very right side of the screen and it's kinda hard to see very clearly what's happen in the movie especially with the 3D glasses. I guess it was the whole atmosphere and the pretty scenes, I did found it a very good movie to look at. But when I saw it the second time, I do find it not as good. t's looking very much like computer games scenes and they don't really look original.. Well I guess it's not that important indeed... as long as most of the people find it original, who cares about those gamers... haha but then I kinda dislike the acting quite a bit, although it's not much in the movie. You know the bad guy looks really bad...

Btw, I m not sure if it's true, but the later close up scenes of the Avatar were probably done quite a bit later than the wide shoots. haha... they looks much much better than the wide shoots really...

Yea, if you haven't seen it yet, go and have a look. At least you know what everyone's talking about. And when it's not even a talking point no more, um... yea... it's nice to see it but not a must-see movie really~~~ haha...

Synecdoche, New York (?)

It's a story about a drama director. He's got an drama award (with a massive prize) at the very beginning of the movie which allow him to prepare another creation and that's what the whole movie about. It's taken like all the rest of his life to prepare and never really ended.

I don't really know how to rate this movie seriously. I just found it a cool idea and super complicated thought in this movie and I did enjoy most of the movie especially the middle part of it, feeling I can't miss any single conversation in it. But when it come to almost the end I guess it's just a bit too long and seems to be never ended. I did find it a bit boring at the almost ending part.

It does lead to a lot of thinking after the movie. If you ask me weather I like the movie, I would give it a yes but when you ask me what if I think about it, I would probably say complicated and a bit boring at the end~ haha... doesn't seems to be some reasons for liking a movie, but that's quite true... Okay ... if I have to rate it, I would give it a 7.5...

The Storm Warriors II, 風雲II （7.5）

People keep saying this movie is kinda disappointing. I guess it's more about what do ppl expect before going in to the cinema for this movie. Well I never really see a single comic of it and I guess I can't really judge its story which I never expect from this movie. What I expected from this movie was a lot of nice CGs and stuff and probably some cool sounds effect, etc and I do think this 90 mins in the cinema didn't upset me at all. No matter how much similar effect we've seen from "300" shown in this movie, I think no one can say, they did a bad job on the CG part here... and they do have some nice effect I never seen on other movies on some fighting scene.

Well, the acting for Tze Ting Fung and ah Sa do bother me a bit :P but other than that, I think everything are quite reasonable and kinda cool. And again the CG does help... I think, when you have some extra time, wanna have some not-too-much-brain-exercise entertainment, go for it~

釋懷~

Indeed I'm not sure if I really did~~ I think i was a bit too much in love with my illustration project~~ yea but really thanks Louie spent time to talk to me trying to explain or comfort me watever~~ it's not the best ending but at least I know I didn't waste time and pissing ppl off~~ it's not that I can't do it but all abt communication. And it's wrong move from the beginning. That guy called Calvin, I understand but shame on wat you did as a creative~~ it does show how narrow minded you are as a person!!!

Apollo 13 (9)

Finally I could spare a quality 2 hours for this movie and it didn't disappointed me! I think I've seen a part of it long time ago and I did think I had to enjoy it when I really hv the time to~~ it's such a good movie! Although it's been taken like 15 years ago, I do find all the details and special effect as good as the Star Trek last year~~ I guess it's all about how much efford and how serious the director and all the crew treat the quality. Its such a great story that had really happened (has it? Haha it's looks like it dose~~ lol)

My last 20sth birthday~

My 29th bday~ German reminds me it's my last 20sth bday~~ Honestly 20sth does mean something to me.. I guess it's to everyone really... Don't know what can a person like me do by the age of 30? Hope that I can have time to do a review of a list of things that I had done so far in my life. Of course these are important to me but what more important is what will I do with what I've built from my earlier life before 30 haha... Better have some plans before it's come... .\/. I have a year to think about it still~~~

The best thing of having a chance to work in the state for Pixi is that I can have a few months that I can stop my busy life, clean up myself physically and mentally, think, plan and get something done! I love my life so far~ :)

It a bit struggle in my 28 unexpectedly... on work and on love life.... I did get some project from HK clients but none of them gave me a good memory~ the Sony's project was cancelled becoz they could use the design due to the production cost, etc~ The Watson's TVC end up was really crap and I really feel shame to have a project done as it is. The card book illustrations project was a piece of shit as well... I hate these hk ppl who don't even respect their own creative industry and other creatives.

I do have something archived tho... I've spent my first few months to be in the state... and came back to HK for the summer~~ and found a fabuious place (in Willis' office) for my studio without spending too much on rent~~ :) Willis is super nice and I guess he is my no.1 "貴人" in my 28th for sure~~ :D My kinda studio runs quite well for now... I think I will need someone to work for me pretty soon~~ I haven't archived my saving target but it's not too far from it.... I've started working the poododoodo website with Debby and Arthur~~ it will rock~~ I know it~~ :) I have done an animation with Leo again~ we didn't win on anything but it was a great one~~ :D haha... at least I think it is....

The first time I heard about his song... I did think it was a she~~ very nice voice and ascent~ haha... but when I see the MV, i just couldnt believe my eyes... It doesnt seems to me it possible to have this voice came out of this face!~~ I do find him ugly sorry :P He has good voice anyway... and that's all a singer need :) love it love it...~~ and it's an super cute MV for his song :) love him more~~

Had a very nice morning yoga and have my computer fixed finally. Back to office at 3 haha and leave at 4 to meet Lew :) Tried to find the secondary school ties for Lloyd... but seems that they are not selling in the school uniform shops but in school only!! very ma fan~~~ ~_~ my plan b is to ask chow chow to get my mother school ones for him~~ haha... at least I can have it "job done" :D Did some shopping and it's movie time~



Back to the movie. A movie from the only Korean director I would pay for a ticket to see (Chan-wook Park). Early from Oldboy, I was already a fans of him. His does create a lot of new treatment and ways to film! soooo fucking talented director~~ This time it's sooooooo bloody bloody! It's a bit out of control when it come to its end tho... a bit over really... I did fall asleep a bit at the beginning only because I was too tire but probably not bcoz of the movie itself... It's really a cool one until it's become a totally vampire movie... The good thing is it doesn't give away a bad feeling in those bloody scenes as a lot of horror movie does. It's even a bit arty~~ esp the way of how the blood spraying out. I can tell it's a result from a lot of thought and test~~ A lot of black humor in the movie too. The husband was acting great after he died haha that added a lot of points to the movie :D The ending is kinda expected but not annoying... The last scene was a bit too much tho... the shoes.... um... 老土之嗎~ haha... I did enjoy the movie tho~~

Had a lovely dinner with Lew... and he walked me to the minibus stop... nice nice.

The Union - The Business Behind Getting High (7.5)

A rehabilitation movie for cannabis. A reasonably informative documentary saying loud why Cannabis should be banned in many ways... Why it's not having as serious influences as even coffee, not to mention it's much least harmful than cigarette. It's kinda nice to know more about something what I've been smoking (quite a few times :P) is actually safe. And I do like the round up message from the movie... haha... see it~

風聲The Message(7)

Recommended by Rachal, The Message is actually quite a good movie. Except the 3D graphics looks a bit rough, the whole movie is very tense from the beginning till the end~ The background is the Sino-Japanese war in China but it's nothing really about the war but the fight between people's mind. I put it in the can-see category. :D

La Mala Educación (8.5)

It's the best Spanish movie I've seen so far... The story is kinda usual and the director tells the story in a very interesting way as well... love it~~ :)The main characters are handsome that add a lot of points too :D haha...although I dont think they act particularly good... :P btw, the version I've seen was Taiwanese version... I m not sure about its translation really... haha... the hknese version probably won't be better tho... haha... kinda frustrating when it comes to non-english western movies... they always have bad translations ><...

第二天早上逛了一下海灘搬了個民宿，老闆娘超好一個人！我在她朋友的一家衝浪店裡等了朋友兩小時去衝浪，心急心急~~

雙獅灣衝到不能再衝~~ 回民宿路上買晚餐。後來竟然發現外賣店老闆跟民宿老闆是同一個人！

第三天早上大雨中衝浪，衝不出去，卻很好玩。

乘老闆兒子車出台北好快噢！在西門町見到Graniphp狅買瘋了。

在西門町的一家咖啡廳與Joanne碰面了~~ 是一家畫廊+咖啡廳，那些插畫東西都跟香港一個插畫師的好像啊~~

Joanne 面相變了，眼睛的光不一樣了，讓人看了舒服很多，其實滿奇妙的。

跟她到了一個所謂部落藝術家展覽的opening~~ 還可以再差一點嗎，真的？ 看來我也要盡快擺個展覽！

逛街~~逛街~~很快就回Joanne家了~ :)

在一家像樣的咖啡廳裡坐了一個小時，吃了出來的時候都是人龍！嚇到！

中山北路—光點。藝術電影院，但當天沒有好看的。

跟Stacy短聚一小時，隨便閒聊很開心~~ 她的小貓很可愛~~

到威秀看一齣whatever movie，還是一個人看。

到西門在上Will的摩托車去打球，他還滿利害的啦，雖然沒有很帥，；p 哈哈！

又去西門町一次跟小豆跟漢堡吃晚飯，他們都人很好。Will突然很high~~

一個人去信義誠品第二天又買買買買很多東西！

東區其實有很多地方可以逛，很多咖啡廳可以去。開始愛上台灣一點點~~

Travel alone~~

Suddenly I saw the stupid photos had been taken on my last day in FCB before I left for my TW trip~~~ miss u all :)

haha it's always good to go travel and I worked almost overnight before the day I go as usual... Don't know start from when, it seems that I always go to airport by myself, travel by myself... I kinda hate the feeling of getting on flight on my own which I used to do for the past 10 yrs. And I did imagine to wait for flight with someone in the last few time~~ wawawa~~~ I probably jus need a company to go some relax trip instead to go by myself~~ haha I'm suddenly thinking I never go travel with daat daat n leo lei~~ next time hv to go somewhere with them sin duk~~ :) I hv enough travel on my own!!!

Basketball mate

Finally, I've found some ding ding basketball friends in HK! The first one, Terry, I met was really weird tho~ -_- anyway he is a nice person and good in heart... um... haha, and he does introduce me some friends who are good at basketball! :) very happy gei... I went to TW for the bball game because of him as well... and that's how I met Wei Wei~ :)

It could be a good movie if it doesn't tell who is the murder all the time throughout the movie. Why don't they keep it until the end?! really weird~~~ the only unexpected thing is almost everyone died at the end~ It is not bad... I think the soundtrack does help a lot on building the mood.

Let go

Seems that it's no luck with nelnel Lo haha~~ To b honest, I think he is not very much my type but at least I don't mind to be with and to tell others that I m with haha~ maybe I'm just trying too hard~~ If I just don't care abt it that much, sth would happen to me. I think ppl are quite not use to too aggressive~~ I guess it's the same when steven did that to me~~ I did react the same. Indeed if he wasn't as aggressive, I might feel more okay to him~~~ haha~~~

Nothing even close

It's just frustrating to be single for so long~~ even worse, it's nothing even close... No date, nor feeling anyone that I'm okay with hving feelin on me =_=. Not to mention a relationship. I was like, it has to be sth serious this time but now it's like watever it is, just give me some kinda someone who I wanna share myself with~~ can't think abt too much further~~

Almost 3 months

Haven't written anything here for so long~~ (those rubbish movie rating doesn't count). Came back for 3 months so far, it is 1/3 of a year~~ hv been doing a lot of things really, seeing quite a lot of friends, meeting quite a few new friends, hving feeling with 2 persons but nothing happened, getting some projects started, doing a lot more yoga. hvn't had any holiday almost, played some rubbish basketball, spent a lot of money, seen a few brillient movie, some crap ones, went to some very good restaurants and not too many crap ones, had some buffet that I didn't want to have too much and wasted money (maybe not my money but still a waste). Life is not bad but I don't feel I m happy right now... I need some change and I've got quite a lot of things are moving, but I still don't feel it, I m not satisfy... I don't know... maybe I just need a person that I like, to share myself... maybe just that... and to complete my life... Or maybe that's too heavy for everyone.

This is incredible!!! The story was great, the characters are well designed, the texture of everything are so precise~~~ One of the best animation for Pixer... I would put it in the same category as Toy story, Incredible & Monster INC. :D

It's a very cool movie from Quentin Tarantino~ Super entertaining visually as usual and very unexpected ending too~~ a lot of black jokes too~~ recommended!!

竊聽風雲 Overheard (7.5)

It's actually another poster which looks a bit loud and unusual... but I really don't find it related to the movie at all... Just over the top~~

I did rate it an 8 in imdb but it's a bit overrated :P it's quite a good movie as a hknese production readyw but not that amazing... Ku Tin Lok is actually improved a lot on acting while Denial is quite disappointing Lau Ching Won was great as expected~~ The main actress (from China?) looks very eligant and acting okay too~~ The beat of the whole movie was very exciting indeed... from start to the end, scene by scene~~~ good job Ive to say~

Tie me up, tie me down (7.5)

It is actually a cool cool movie when I think about it afterward... I didn't really feel it when I just saw it... but esp. when I think it's a movie from almost 20 years ago... the idea was actually quite explosive~ It's indeed quite a lot of places not making very much sense... but ya... take it easy and indeed they are not that important... Or maybe I am always interested in tie-up kinda idea... haha which add some points to the movie~~ btw, it's a movie Stephane bought me from UK~~ haha.... add a lot of points~~

Paris 36 (7)

Ha~~ watched this movie with Leo & daat... Hoi sum~~~ it's just a very happy positive story, happy ending musical :) songs are nice and the actors are doing quite well too... Nothing surprising tho... Not-necessary-to-see but nice-enough-to-see movie. Actually it's super simple story but quite cheerful~~ And I like the main actress~~ she is pretty :)

Daat's recommended movie~ I think I understand why she like it so much and so much touched by this movie... To be honest, the story is not as great as I thought. The sex scene is quite a bit over. It's probably for commercial reasons and of cause it's exotic which everyone like to see. But it does has more sex scenes than it can be and also more detail than it needs. It cinematography is not quite up to standard neither. I also found it very weird that the makeup on the same person in different scenes could be as different as it is. I dont find consistency at all~ I have a question, please let me know if anyone know it here. In the movie, all the kids at the beginning of the film, the are all having big and red eye bags... is that a traditional or what? it's just rediculiously obvious if that's a mistake.

The only and the biggest factor that save the movie is the actors! They act sooooooo amazingly great that can waive all the rubbish in all other areas! The King can definitely control his face with his heart~ Only In the first sex scene, the king was having sex with Hong Lim. Hong Lim is very like "acting acting" lerh... probably he's not a gay maybe :P he's just.... acting. Also visually the scene was comparatively conservative :P Probably that's why a lot of my gay friends found it a boring movie haha... they expacted more that that! hohoho~~~ But except that, all other scenes were really good... especailly when Hong Lim return and try to kill the king. I could really feel the "tension" lerh~

Movie Friday

Went to see CoCo Avant Channel with a big group of Marcus' friends. The first time I saw him indeed... He wore a pair of glasses, very "si man" gum lerh~~... actually I found him quite handsome :P hhaa.. yea.. anyway... we went to have a dinner in a Thai restaurant in PP before movie... pretty nice... but expensive~~ haven't go to eat with so many people for a loooong time lerh~~ and his friends are quite nice and funny~~
Finished movie and surprisingly everyone just go home~~ haha...

Coco Avant Chanel (7.5)

I still think it is a good movie even Leo keep telling me his points.. blalalbla~~~ It's all about her earlier life, instead of how she became famous~~ So, don't say that the film is ending in a rush... :) It has to end over there~~

I think the story is interesting, and the actors are doing pretty good~~ But I do find it a bit weird after watching. I don't feel it is a WOW film although I do like it... Maybe the way the director treat the movie was too linera or what... I did think it could be nicer somehow~~ haha...

Gran Torino (9.5)

I have to say, it's one of the best movie I've seen this year... I normally not interested in this kinda very American movie, like stories would only happen in America, American culture. Even worse, I have had read the background about this movie from a megazine before watching it and I know what's the movie all about.

But when I saw it, I m totally impressed by the atmosphere the film created, the way and the beat they tell the story. Very calculated, very American, with a super simple story, very minial, very it is what it is, pluse the fantastic acting! Everything we should thanks Clint Eastwood! he is such a genius~~ Except the kid in the movie was acting quite badly.. it is a perfect film!!

Of course it is one of the 10 movie you can't miss before you die~~ :D

Star Trek (9)

I m not a big fans of star war or star trek kinda movie otherwise I may give it a 10~~ It is almost a perfect movie except the main charactor wasn't a prefect cast. :D well... not to me anyway... maybe it's more about the character's personality than the actor's performance tho... I dont know... just felt that it must be a better choice... I know it's kinda picking bones from eggs.. but yea... haha I do love it anyway! I love the character design of Sepok a lot! The CG was perfectly done~ I do feel the movie was actually taken in a real set a real world~~!!

Stef in HK

How could I not having time to write it down until now?! ahh~~~~~~~ Stef was in HK at the first 3 days I came back home :).... we hang out around and had so much fun :):) I arrived at 5am in the morning and went to Shek O with him and Tracy almost straight away in the afternoon :D:D never know hk has such a nice place to go... hohoho~~~ a bit crowd but still a very nice place.. a few nice beach house there even. Just like it :)







yea.... the 2nd day, we went to Tai O and visit a forbidden empty Police station :D haha.... such an advanture~~ it's a huge spider in front of the gate~~ we bascially broke in and hang around for an hour~~~ haha... pretty fun~~~ The weather was quite nice... cloudy and cool... We had the "cha graw" as dessert as well...~~ yea yea yea...

Back in Town

Back to HK again, and met Stephane :) happy happy~~ got off the flight at 4sth, arrived home at around 6... unpacked a bit and slept for an hour and head out to meet up Stephane and Tracy ^__^ Arrived Shek O at 2. Haven't been in Shek O for ages... and found that, it's actually a quality beach~~ one of the best in HK... from the environment (no tall buildings around the beach!) kinda convinence, a lot of cool looking people (the best part!!!) and relatively clean water~~~ :) some very nice beach house on the side as well... :) Love it! Went for a basketball game at 10... super tiring day~~~ I m feeling it's a good start back in HK lerh~~~ very hk life style~~ lol

Flight to LA~

Pack and worked until 6 in the morning. Woke up at 11:30. Jimond & Annie came home. Had mama's dumpling for lunch. Take Taxi to Airport. Check-in. Pacific Coffee. Buy Snacks from Yao Gi Leung Bun. MSN. Talked to Walter, Fred, Andrew, Dawn. Dinner on flight was surprisingly good. Watched 10 mins of "fu gi" (the actors were disgusting!) and 5 mins of "All about women" and couldn't continue. The last king of Scotland was a good movie, although I dont particularly like this kinda movie. Read a bit Antony's book (the Kin Ng's Radio). Not particularly interesting. Feeling a bit lost of why I m coming to US... Maybe still too tired think about these thing. Seems that I was working too much last week... hope that I can squeeze some time to sort out my personal stuff during the time in US lo.

It is such an exciting show!!! The participants are just amazing amazing!!! I really feel that I m so much attracted by dancers in general :p hahaha

0700 Worked until 6am, trying to finish off some more project before going on holiday and packed up a bit before slept at 7am.

1100 Woke up and heading the airport~~

1300 Arrived airport just on time~~ woohooo~~~ got off the bus at 1:00 sharp~~ perfect time managemnet ya?~ haha... Met up Fred in T2. Never know T2 is only for check-in and had to go all the way back to the gate in T1, kinda stupid arrangement. Bought a DANSK magazine (frm Danmark) & Vogue men (Jp version). The photos in DANSK are all "referencable", good good!




1600 Flight delayed for an hour and finally got off the track~ Bali, we are coming~~~ :)

2100 Arrived Bali~ not as hot as I thought but super humid >_<.. mark deduction~ wah wah wa~~ It was a pick up service from airport to hotel. The driver was kinda nice. He recommended a seafood restaurant on the way back to Hotel which quite overpriced. He probably get commission -_-. Actually it's on a very long beach and the environment there was great~ the food tasted good but not extremely fresh. Fred was kinda upset by being cheated by the driver (indeed I think it wasn't a cheat). Well, but very typical HKnese thinking you know... but as I always think, tourist are supposed to be cheated anyway I do found it okay~ And at least it was a cool experience to have a dinner on the beach. It could be very romantic if it's a right person~~ :P Btw, I'd checked the travel guide afterward, it mentioned the restaurants on that beach (Jimbaran Beach) too, saying they are super famous in the world, expensive but good for experience, lalala~~ It could be nicer if we could stay there for a bit longer~~



2300 On the way back to our resort,Melia Bali, we passed 2 security gates. haha... should I appreciate the good security or should I worry about out safety? The architecture was quite impressive~~ The lobby was massive and very well decorated with painting all over the cylinder!! I should have taken a lot more photos there if I could T_T will tell you why I couldn't~~ The room wasn't that great tho ~_~ Not super clean esp the toilet... Understandable tho, it's just old and not spending enough money on maintenance. Plus workers there are pretty slow.

0200 Couldn't sleep well after the overnight work ><. Plus slept in a 2 single bed stick together (which form a double bed) with a kinda handsome guy doesn't really help for falling asleep. Well, believe it or not, really nothing had happened. I was confused too, somehow we hug to sleep together at around 7 in the morning I geuss, but just... llalalalala~~ 1000 Woke up and went for a buffet breakfest. A lot of choices but none of them are good as most of buffet in hotel.


1130 Fred would like to go gym. I just couldn't stand with that gym smell (10 times stronger than normal gym in HK ~_~) and I did my yoga in the room next door.



1330 Went out to downtown, Kuta to have lunch. It takes half an hour & RP90,000 (abt HK$70) to town from Hotel! Feeling so shitty~~ It is totally not what I expected. It's just very dirty and seems that everyone just trying to squeeze money from you. I had stopped and asked myself m I just being spoiled and forgetting how hard is it to make a living? But everything are either in super bad quality or they are even more expensive than I can buy from HK. Had broken the protecting lens on my cannon T___T. Even the shop there couldn't take the broken one lens off >_< have to wait until back in HK and no camera to use in my entire Bali trip~~ The worst thing is Fred didn't even show any concern and it's like blaming my careless so that we had to spend time to fix that. feeling so fucked~



1500 Called Emi~~ wao~~~ she's working until dinner time although it's Sat. Me and Fred had a lunch somewhere I can't even remember.

1630 We Went to the beach straight away after lunch~ The wave there were sooooooooo perfect for surf!!! Damn~~ Fred didnt bring anything for beach... :( such a waste~~ ahhhhhh~~~~ imagine, you have not eaten for 6 months, and there's is a big meal in front of you. But you have wait one more day before you can eat that. Ya~ it is as bad as that.

I can't really remember how did we pass that many hours around Kuta. It's nothing you want to buy,

1900 Had a foot massage in a shop. It's kinda nice after the few hours of walking in such a hot and humid weather.

2130 Finally met Emi in a German restaurant. Going to Bali is not entirely because of Eni but I would probably choosen somewhere else if Emi is not there :) Sooooo good to see her and found that she is doing good :) I m the third one from Kate house visiting her, after Mindie and Joan~ haha... The food there were nice and we've had very good time :)

2330 Went to an Emi's recommneded gay bar there, known as the best and the most popular one in Bali... haha almost totally non-decorated, non-airconditioned. People there are kinda weird. Let's talk about the combination of people~ haha... 10% Trans. 40% of Weird looking local Very old white, understandable, but not acceptable!! Some trans man with perfect makeup were dancing there which is quite impressive tho~ hohoho~~~

0200 Went to bed and nothing much happened really~

1000 Had the same breakfast again ~_~


1100 Went to the private beach in our hotel~ a lot of squirrels on trees~~~ haha...pretty cute... had sunbath for a while already feel a bit burning. Who said the sun in Bali don't get you tan?!?!?!

0330 SURFSURFSURF~~~ in Kuta Beach... so exciting~~ Fred went to a spa while I surf~~ The surf board rental shop (the tourist guide mentioned) was quite far from the beach -_- passed a lot of shops and finally arrived the beach. oh~~~ my~~ lovely waving sea~~~ :D:D It was amazing to see the sunset in the sea~~ the sun was just on top of the 4m wave :D waowaowao~~~ super cool~~~ how nice it would be if i have a camera to capture the scene~~ :D

Super tired after 3 hours fighting with the waves~~ haha... couldn't really ride on those big waves~~ but only the little ones~~ haha... hopefully I can do it soon~~

1930 Had 2 Icecream in McDonald! haha... while I was waiting for Fred~~

2030 Had a dinner in a very nice Indonesian restaurant ^__^ and not expensive... so happy...

One of the most chill out day on my travel history. It could be nice to do nothing and just enjoy the time in the resort, but to be honest who am I going with just make a big different. Are you not feeling good to be so chill or do you really want to go somewhere? Not answering is not always the best way to express what's in mind I supposed. um.... maybe he's just a silent person.

Hang around the beach... took quite a lot of photos there...~~ :D and forgot having lunch~~

1800 Had dinner in an okay restaurant next to the security gate. They offer us free cocktail haha... and provide free transportation too~~ so nice~~. Walked a bit around the area but really nothing to see... the "supermarket" the guidebook mentioned was even smaller than a convenience store ~_~

2100 Walked in a shop in the hotel... almost bought a pair of trousers... we had even agreed the price but the price that lady told me was in US while I thought it's in Indo money!!! the pair of trousers I think I can find in hk for about HK$200 but the price there was US$70!! so I thought she was saying RB$70,000 (abt HK$55) -__-... anyway... nothing even worth bargaining~~

2300 Tried to watch the movie but the DVD doesnt work !__! so annoying~~

0030 Slept early for the rafting tmr :D:D

0645 Woke up and prepare, so exciting~~

0715 Same breakfast~

0800 went on the van~~ :D...




0915 arrived the rafting centre~~ play the money, took another van to a point, walked for 5 mins, passed a bridge and changed to another van. Walked 20mins down to the Ayung River~~~ The environment was just wat I expected Bali should be ^__^... Luckily I had insisted to go to the rafting~~ otherwise I would hate Bali after the trip :D I so much felt that the real Bali should be like this... not the one I've seen the last few days~ :)The rafting was very very mild indeed... We moved slowly... People from different boat start "water war" very soon after starting the trip~ I found that "water war" is just so universal that no matter what nationality you are, you would just enjoy~~ haha... no matter you are the one who is attacking or being attack or looking at others. Everyone was just having so much fun. We dont know each other and probably won't see each other again in their rest of life~~ yea... water just brought us together :D:D haha...


0130 The trip was quite long actually. Things around are pretty similar throughout the whole trip but it was very nice to get close to the nature and see the real Bali. The "free" lunch was surprisingly not bad at all~~ :)

1500 Got back to the hotel~ seems to be too stupid to just wait in the resort for the free transportation. We decided to go to downtown to do some final shopping before getting on flight.

1730 Arrived Bali airport~ checked in and tried to spend the last bit of money there~~ things are like 3 times more expensive than those we've bought from town -_-

1900 got on flight... the dinner was nice! (the one I had on the way to Bali was very very shit!):D haha~ bye~ Bali. I may or may not see you again~~

Conclusion 1, For what I've seen, Indonesian have lost their "purity" and kindness which undeveloped area people should have. At the same time, they have not enough education to control themselves from earning money dishonestly and being nice to ppl (although that's fake). It's like Shang Zhang or Shanghia 10-20 years ago. Well, I can tell they are moving away from these slowly, last time I went to Shang Zhang. I guess it's a really long progress and need a lot of education.

Conclusion 2, to go travel with a right person is too important :D It's not easy to find someone who can just let go and enjoy the time~ and Tracy is one of them :D ho ho ho~~~ It could be nice to come to Bali again some time~~ with some other people :D

Craft Village in ShangZhang

Jimond bought me to a Craft Village the other day. The whole village, almost all the shops there are selling oil paint and stuff like that!Um...but can't talk about this too much right now :P coz I have a secert plan with Debby soon :D

爆粗band友 (7.5)

It is one of the best comic adpatation movie I've seen... The rythum of the whole movie was just perfect! Maybe coz I don't really like the translation of the comic I do find the movie a better execusion with almost exactly the same story. It is more complete probbaly becuase I dont need to wait for the next comic out in the middle of the story. :)
All the actings, body languages and scripts were great too... . It keep reminding you the story is from a japanese comic, haha... maybe I should say, it's like it brings me into a comic world (in between real and surreal).

Watchmen (8.5)

I m sure it is the deepest US hero movie I have ever seen~ The idea was a bit similar to the animation movie "Incredible". Well, a bit similar that has brought the super heros down to the real life and even more realisticly show that idea on screen and it has a few steps forward even (probably because it not only target on kids which allow the story to explorer some deeper thoughts).

I never read the comic and had no idea about the story neither. Probably that helps impressing me when I saw it in cinema~ The only thing I m not very happy about this movie is the ugly 3D kinda thing (I dont know what was that, to be honest) Doctor Manhatten built on Mars. Seems to me they were running out of budget and needa get the project finish in their postproduction stage. -_-

Anyway, the very main thing is it was very entertaining as well as showing its deepness~~~~ The movie entirely shows the great talent and sense of humor of the director, Zack Snyder. :)

Confessions of a Shopaholic (4.5)

yep... It is expected but I still think, as a junk movie, it can be much better than this. Especially they don't really need to be so Confessions (I thought this movie's called "Shopaholic" only)! yep... nothing I have to talk about the story really... the whole movie is just a stupid confessions of a shopaholic. The styling does help telling the story a bit... yea... a movie that I regard to watch it in a cinema. .\/. Trust me, it's a waste of time. you only need to read the movie name (or at most, to see this movie poster as well).

Nijyusseiki Shōnen - 20世紀少年 (4)

I guess it is very very difficult to make it into movie, especially this complicated comic as it is. But still, It is quite a bad adaptation. It looks like a fast forward TV series than a movie. I really don't know what could help but I think they should just wait until they have a better solution before taking it. Btw, the 雪路 (瀬戸口ユキジ)casting is quite bad... um.. probably quite difficult to find a tough looking girl in Japan? haha... anyway.. I will see the 2nd one...

Slumdog Millionaire (5.5)

To be honest, I don't like this movie. haha... although I think some of the elements the director has handled very well... and obviously it is not a bad movie. Somehow after I read some of the review, if we have a certain knowledge of their religion and history, the movie is actually quite deep~~ haha well... whatever, I didn't know them and I am not interested in those stuff neither~~

The story and the way it tell the story was not bad at all indeed but the promo (not reviews, but the promo only) has entirely tell everything would be happen on screen. And really nothing more than that. The kids was kinda cute :) but a lot of actors inside wasn't really acting well lerh...

I know it does make sense to have a Bollywood dance at the end of the film but it really deduct its marks by that~~ >_<

btw, I really can't believe how could the Indian government (like officially) proud of the Oscar Award saying it helps to promote their country!!!!

Cheer Chan concert HK 09

Cheer Chan becomes a rock queen? Maybe it's called a progress or a music path that she's on, but it doesn't sounds right to me at all. Well, after quite a few years of "little girl voice", she needs some changes but obviously rock is just very not her.

I think it's normal that the show was exactly the same as the one in TP, but when my friend told me even the punch line and what she speak to the ordinances are also exactly the same... I was a bit shock lerh~~ doesnt seem that Cheer would do this... I also found some of the backdrop animation were exactly the same as a few year ago too... um..... Cheer, I expect you more than that lerh~

It's just simply a very good movie. A very deep story + ultimately great acting, all of the actors! The ending was good! Yea, we all doubt things. We doubt religions, we doubt life, bcoz our world is full of ridiculousness. We doubt bcoz we think and that make us human beinng, init? I doubt how could anyone possibly miss a movie like this?
